RVI’s Education programme
Transferring Knowledge through Education and Training
Learning for impact
Local knowledge drives better policy and practice. The difference between a good decision and a costly one is depth of understanding. Insight isn’t optional, it’s leverage.
Across the African continent, policy-makers, diplomats, development workers, researchers, activists, journalists and investors are navigating complexity: volatile politics, climate stress, displacement, contested histories, fast-growing and dynamic economies. RVI’s multi-disciplinary courses led by regional experts provide in-depth, usable analysis, practical tools and a network you can call on when it matters.
We run week-long field courses on the Horn of Africa, the Sudans and the Great Lakes. We run bespoke courses for institutions. We train researchers. Since 2004, thousands of participants have trained with us.
